pop/rock Christmas song!!

My band and I recorded this song this month at my studio; it's a Christmas song. It's not for release, just for fun and our myspace site. Check it out if you'd like, feedback if you feel the need. Thanks guys!

I'm diggin' the lyrics in the Media Player trick. Kudos. Nice song, tight. The recording is good.

Hey man, I forgot to ask what amps you are using and what gear you are using to record. I'm a guitarist and am always interested in amps :) Plus, I am pretty new to recording. I just got into it this past summer. Thanks!

We used a few different amps; the more gainy guitars were done with a Gibson SG and a Marshall JCM900, as well as a few of the cleans. The other guitar was done with a Hollow Body PRS I believe and a vintage VOX (no idea about model or year at the moment). The two guitar tones are completely different so it's interesting how it came together. I don't completely recall, but we may have used a Mesa Boogie Rect-O-Verb as well for some dirty cleans.

I recorded the guitars with a single SM57, pointed right towards the best sounding speaker, about an 1 inch from the grill. I used the stock Digidesign 002 preamps for guitars.
