On Sunday Morning

Hey All. I've been trolling this site for awhile and appreciate all the insight I've gained - I hope to give back when I can.

Looking for a little feedback on a song I've been working on with my band. It's got more of a retro / Jet feel. We recorded this in my basement, and we're looking to re-record it in a local studio with a few others (hopefully early next year). Before we get too comfortable with it, I thought I'd see what feedback / advice any of you had.

Thanks for listening in advance - even if you don't like it.

The tune is alright.
I would be redoing that vocal track without those awful fx.
The effects really, stink on the lead vox tracks.
Sorry, you asked.

Not a problem - I appreciate the input.

Cool song. Workout (investigate) the harmony/lines between the Bass and Guitars so there's no #$%intervals...(maybe rehearse at half speed) if you know what I mean. Prepare the Over Dubs ahead of time so you know what you want in the studio. the vox FX may be a bit more subtle (or not), ...I think it's cool, and if you hear it...go for it. figure out some harmony that may benefit the vocals in specific places.
Look for some music reference that may help the engineer while looking for sounds at recording time.
Good luck!
