Ambient / Rock / Alternative track . . . um good track for mix feedback

Hey gang,

Just finished this track up , first one in my new place . General mixing and translation feedback would be great . Enjoy the song too !

I think it sounds pretty decent. I'll just throw in my 2 cents though on things that kinda jumped out issue wise:

I thought that the drums were a bit boxy.. even the cymbals could use a bit of 200-1k cut. The snare seemed kinda out of place tuning wise and a bit disconnected from the kit. Maybe a bit of verb would help sit it back? Also in the 3rd part of the song the kick drum is a bit overblown perhaps? I'm on headphones, but I have a feeling there might be a bit to much LF energy going on during the rocking part.

OR....., this could be a case of artistic choice and ignore what I said about the drums..

Anyhow, the rest of the tones are nice and clean. Keep up the good work. It's almost "there"
