Cool power pop song.
Bring the drums back a lot.
The vocals are mostly burried in that mix.

The drums sound good, they're just too over-powering.
I like the guitar, it's cool and it sounds good for the song.
The bass is decent.
All of the instruments seem too loud.
Help that poor vocalist, he's been burried alive by a big wall of sound!

The song could be a lot better with some higher harmony and BG vox.

vocals need to be way up.. the compression over the whole thing makes my ears feel weird.

I like the sound, and i really like the snare drum, give some details! Sampled, miced, or both? If sampled what sampler and samples you using? I like the snare on the other song too.

I thought that the vocals could come up some.. The toms really bug me..I can't quiet put my finger on it. Not powerfull enough maybe?

The drums could use more ambience especially during the chorus.. I notice it with the ride/ cymbals. I'm talking depth of space not reverb on snare..

but, seriously..
It sounds pretty damn good especially for the style your going for! Nice work..

..but there is something wierd about the toms...

Great overall mix! Definitely radio ready.

The mix is already there but if It was my song I would have to agree with the previous comment about the chorus - I would boost the ride and possibly the crash cymbals just a bit - the ride should be equal to or greater than the tamborine.

Try increasing the vocals 1 - 2db that should sit them perfectly and leave the snare where it is - the vocal boost should bring the snare more in balance.

Excellent, bottom end. Very well performed - tight!

I agree with many of the previous comments, the vocal needs brought up. I listened to this in headphones and the guitars hug my ears. This makes it really hard for me to hear the drums at the end of the song. Maybe the guitars could come down a bit at the end or bring up the drums. I also think those guitars fight with the vocal. Other than that it sounds good.

i wouldn't change anything, this sounds really consistent with the way todays pop rock records are sounding, the drums could go down a tad but thats up to u. great sound. let us know what u used for the drums, id be really interested. nice job!
