i need some feedback

OK, so I am recording this song I have written, I am not muhc of a guitar player, i play drums but i can manage a few chords here and there on the guitar. Anyway i wrote this song and recorded it today. Its kinda indie rock-ish/repeat the same thing a lot-ish. i used a seagull s series acoustic to play with, i recorded it with my firepod and mixed in nuendo 2. anway here it is, let me know what i can improve on ..(this song is going on a cd im writing for my girlfriend for her birthday, so id like for it to be decent) thanks a lot!!

Hey there,

a few remarks for you:
Ask e friend who can play guitar better to help you. Let him play the parts and use a metronome or drumcomputer. also dont let him play the first guitarpart not so loud. i think it wil suit the song more.

keep up the good work

I'll echo musicdog about the guitar. Get a friend who plays better to help out. I'd rather hear a bass line than the steady guitar part, but that's just me. Keep playing that music and you'll get it.

nice song structure. get a more seasoned guitar player throw in some bass, drums, mandolin and some breathy scratchy vocals and your there. nice work.
make sure you post when complete. best of luck.

A little EQ might go a long way.....cut some low mids, a little differently on each guitar.
I'll bet your girl would rather hear just you on the track so just do your best and put it out there.
