I just finished this mix and i was hoping sombody could help me out. I can't seem to get the distorded guitars up front. As soon as I turn them up the whole mix seems to fall appart. Any ideas?

It sounds to me like there is still quite a bit of room for the distorted guitars to come up before the mix would crater. Do you feel like the guitars starts to fight the vocal when you turn them up? I wouldn't mind hearing those distorted guitars more spread out in the stereo field too. That might help matters if you can try that.

I fould it was getting in the way of alot of things bass/vocals. And any more Eq and I wouldnt like the sound anymore. So im thinking I have to go back to the amp to try and get a good sound without so much low end, i end up cuting s lotof it anyway. Just hoping for some more tips...

when the distorted guitars come in its almost as if its a Mono mix--spread them out Man!!!----listen to some of AudioSlaves stuff--you are doing it backwards---do it like this: soft guitar close to the middle-----Loud distorted guitars-double tracked and spread way out.
