My album is released, my web-site is opened

www.moi.tut.ru

In "Audio" section you can download mp3 tracks of my album.

Or to listen to album trailer
right from here
(1:56, 1.8Mb).

All records were made in my flat! Mixed on P4 3.2GHz, 1Gb in Cubase SX
All instruments except for guitars were "sampled"
Electric guitars were run through Sovtek tube amp (check "Pics" section of my web-site) then to Weber Mass attenuator then directly to Presounus Firebox sound card. Cab speakers were "emulated" by convolution impulses of real cabs in Cubase.
Acoustic guitar were captured by a mere Shure 58 but it took me so long to "dance" with it near guitar and then to dial good sound with EQ...

Very inventive, quirky, kinda reminded me of ween for some reason.

I like the talkboxy sound on track01 (sorry, don't know the name)

what is that effect?

Thanks!
The effect is Talk Wah-Wah from GuitarRig software (if you're familiar with that computer program).
Check other tracks you haven't done yet... They differ from each other a lot, though staying in one genre - blues-rock...
