Simple pop power ballad - Work In Progress

So. My 1st Gearslutz post. (I've been reading for 3 years, amazing resource!)

Here's a simple popish power ballad I've been working on. Work In Progress.
My role is engineer & sorta co-producer.

Anyone have any suggestions?

What he said. I like how the track sounds, but the vocals (which are fine in their own right) are juuust not sitting right. Maybe some tube comp would help.

Snare might be a little...nuclear...mushroom cloudy...I guess it is a ballad, but the aftermath is kinda bloody. You'd think the snare was the lead singer, yet at the same time, it's also kinda boring (samples?)...maybe too much compression...

Sounds great!
