Sounds good, I like the grimey sound...but that's probably more the samples than the mix I would guess.

Sounds nice though, what samples are you using for strings/drums?

I'm not sure how to explain it honestly...kind of raw and muffled..in a good way.

Strings sound great, I'm surprised that's off of your Alesis! I had one of those keyboards and I couldn't get anything sounding good.

Did you double the strings or something?

Post this up when someone raps over it please.

na i didint double the strings just put it thru the ir1 waves reverb, and thats about it. my main problem is my tracks always come out sounding muffled, but im not sure how to make it sound cleaner, without making it sound harsh with eq plugins, especially using plugins????

I'm not saying this sounds like Wu Tang, but I read once that the Rizza worked on something, and the more tracks the less resolution/quality. It created a sort of a muffled/grimey tone.....and it became their sound in a way, according to the article.

Grimey is good...out of these shi**y computer speakers I am digging the vibe..

Sounds allright I think. The "snare" thingee is too short. It either needs some verb or a little less gate. I think a slight touch of verb on it would be killer, as it's sitting too close compared to the rest of the instruments. You also want that space for the vox when they get put in, if you know what I mean.

Everything else is cool I think.

I can't really hear the sub bass right now, but I'd know it if it was too loud if that makes sense.

I think the bass is great :) Kick cuts through too....nice work.

Will do, and thanks a ton for the offer. I really appreciate it.

I can't hear sub bass in my room either. Something I'm going to fix ASAP!

And I feel ya on finding your mojo. It's hard ITB. No doubt about it.
