| Maybe this should be in the Moan Zone just got done with the most exhausting mixes of my life. below is one of 10 songs from this album. the band is 3 guys. one plays keys and sings, another plays keys, and the third plays guitar. all of the electric and "organic" drums are done by 2 separate computers. this song ended up with 86 tracks. i don't know how i would have ever done it on tape. it was tracked with PTHD then submixed ITB (i only have 24 outs) and then mixed on a trident 80b to 1/2". prepare for 10 stories of fire-breathing, car-crushing pandemonium...... and a headache. a 192k mp3 Last edited by godcity; 1st February 2006 at 11:16 PM.. Reason: the band didn't want songs posted on line yet. |

I listen to a LOT of music and I've never heard anything quite like this. Pretty trippy sounds. I agree that you did a great job- especially keeping the guitar & vocals audible and sounding good. I think the drums/electronics are what give it an "original" sound. I would buy this. Can you post any band info? Website?

but for now, i will just say that their name, and url, are a hybrid of the name of a mongolian warlord and the name of an 80's sci-fi movie. can you figure it out?

| I just had to say WOOAW! I think the guitars and the programed computers blend well together and the mix sounds good. I've never heard anything quite like this before. Good job! /Cojo |

| When you said the band was 2 keyboard players and a guitar player, I was thinking an acoustic folk band with no drummer, not this. Good job on the mixes though. Very interesting.
