| Lives for gear | New Electronic Track from R A I N L A N D After an extended break, Rainland is creating music again. The latest song, 'sisterplanet,' is an upbeat instrumental synthfest: http://rainland.org/audio/sisterplanet.mp3 Background: Rainland formed a few years back as a collaboration with my long time friend, Rex. We wrote and recorded two songs together and re-recorded two songs Rex wrote with a previous band. In time, the business of real life intervened with music making and Rainland went on hiatus for a while, but I'm making music a priority again and resurrecting the Rainland name. Having moved last year, 'sisterplanet' started off as a simple test project for the revamped studio. It evolved into a fun celebration of my early '80s synthesis roots and influences. Don't take it too seriously and remember to tap your feet. :) You can find the rest of Rainland's music here: http://rainland.org/music.htm Thanks for the bandwidth and feel free to post or send comments, Synth80s |

| Lives for gear | Thanks, man. The influence is not at all unintentional. :) BTW, if you're a DM fan and you don't already have it, I highly recommend the 3-disc remix set released in 2004. There is a ton of fresh material in this collection: http://www.allmusic.com/cg/amg.dll?p...rj287q05na~T00 -Synth80s |
