SHAMELESS gig promotion for NAMM goers- Dee Snider and Van Helsing's Curse

I thought about it and I think this is the right forum to post this in. Anyway, now for shameless self-promotion!

This Friday night at "The Grove" in Anaheim, CA, a group called "Van Helsing's Curse" will be the featured performer at Paul Reed Smith's annual NAMM party. It's a 19-piece horror themed rock/metal orchestra fronted by Dee Snider (Twisted Sister fame) and it's truly an extraveganza of epic proportions. The group covers dark classics as well as a few modern deadly pieces as well. Check it out here (mp3s available on site):

I happen to play the role of a chanting dead druid (one of six), but my real role with this group has been arranging/recording/mixing the studio material. Anyways, if you're in town for NAMM and are able to snag some tickets (bug PRS), I guarantee you a show quite unlike any you've ever seen! And if nothing else, you'll see super-badass Al Dimeola play a set right before us.

Happy NAMM!

I hung out with TS and then did some roadie drum tech work with them (25 years ago) they let me work with them when I turned 18, other wise JJ would bring me to the gigs cos he lived upstairs from me with Tony Petri (first drummer).
They know me as Rob Johnson. It was a ton of fun. Dee gave me some singing lessons, JJ guitar lessons and I bought a fender deluxe reverb from him (my first gtr amp) and drum lessons from Tony and later Joey Brighton. Charlie told me what sound was about and Elmo Nitrate was just plain crazy. They would let hang with them at the boards.
Break a leg!
