| Old French Carol My recording buddy borrowed my Schoeps MK2 pair and Jecklin disk and recorded this old French carol. Mics about 18" from the lower bout of a Claxton steel string guitar, no effects, processing, or edits. http://www.dougyoungguitar.com/mp3/Bring_A_Torch.mp3 He just ordered his own Schoeps and J disk. | I sent Doug the link to your "Jingle Bells" - he was impressed! The Schoeps / J disk combo made getting the sound super easy. And that little Claxton is something special. The first time I heard Doug noodling in a guitar shop I went over and introduced myself, he's pretty darned good for a software engineer <grin>. Fran |
