Nice song. I listen to a lot of this kind of pop/rock and something here is not quite right, not sure what it is. I don't mix a lot of this music so it's hard to say.

It could be just the mp3 though it sounds a little distorted in areas where it shouldn't be.

I like the song a lot. Good work.

It's distorted. Who mastered this? Could be the problem. Also the vocals could be more up front. A lot more.

The mix is decent, hard to tell with it slammed and distorted like that.

But for the distortion, I enjoyed this music and mix. I'm not an expert in mp3 compression artifacts but the distortion, fairly easily heard without suggestion from others here, didn't strike me as mp3 artifact.

Nice work.

sounds good but for a pop song the vocal needs to be way more in front and the voc needs some automation on the busy parts. It gets lost in the music. Also something else is going on that I cant figure out. It's seems some over copression is happening on the music somewhere not the vocal. Also Either it's the mp3 conversion but some of the reverbs seem "cheap" But it recorded very well.

Thanks for the feedback.
I think it is distorted as well, but it aint here, perhapse I overdid the mastering and that combined with MP3 is causing some distortion.
I really only slammed it through T-Raks quickly and limited it too much, oh well, thats easily re-done.
Shes only quite young, 13, so perhapse she needs to develop more, I think shes very good compared to other 13 yo and she has some interest.
Anyway, perhapse I should post the un-mastered version.....
BTW, drums are BFD and guits are GIT-rig and bass is POD-XT, strings are platinum symphonic orchestra and piano is bosendorpher 290 samples.
I think it sound pretty good for all samples and amp sim. Vox are real though:-)
Cheers

I would definately beef up the Vox throughout the song a db or so. Especially if your trying to showcase the girl and the rest. I dig the song though it's very catchy, especially the hook.
