| Lives for gear | It's lacking quite a bit. The vox aren't sitting right, the relationship between the backup vox and the lead vox is hellish. The drums aren't cutting through very well, and they need to come up a lot in this song, especially the kick and snare. The bridge/solo? is a train wreck also. There's too much going on there. I'm trying to listen to 6 things at once, and it's a touch confusing. I'd say cut out some of the background guitars and stuff there. The lead vox needs to sound bigger too. Maybe a touch more low end, and a fat plate or something. I also feel the pad needs to go really wide and emcompass everything if you know what I mean. the inst on the left at :58 could use a delay to spruce it up some.

Paul, About the bridge, I'd try muting some stuff, or turning it wayyyyy down, and playing it back for your client. Do an a/b comparison so they can hear the difference. You gotta educate your clients. Maybe they don't know any better :) If it works, great, if not, oh well, at least you tried. About the vox, the backing vox dosen't sit well with the lead vox. It needs to be processed so the backing vox isn't such a distraction from the lead vox, but it more of a support for it. I can't explain the steps, it's just something I do.

| Lives for gear | Sounds better. I do think the guitar that starts at :44 should come up a bit...

| Sounds WAY better. You've made it a whole lot easier to listen to.
