Return of the the punks Some of you heard the demo mix and now they (the band) would like a more "polished" mix. This is the result. It's called the "teenage mix" because I used Teenage Head for comparison but it still falls short if that mark... ( still love that band... Teenage Head that is). Okay, now let fly with the invective... FB

Nice mix, dude! Too many highs in the bass drum in the beginning, sounds like it might be clipping after EQ? Happens a few more times in the song too (like at 1:33 and 1:38). The vocals are a little too ambient for me, I'd either make the drums more verby or tone it down on the vocals, that's just a preference thing, tho. The hat/ride might be 1db too loud, but such is most vintage punk, so fair enough. Take care of those blips and you're set!

Hey Alex, Thanks for the listen and great comments! I really didn't hear the kick drum thing 'till you mentioned it and I listened to this sucker ALOT and on 4 different systems! How is it that we listen so intently and still miss stuff... this fascinates me. Active listening is a skill for sure. FB

Love the song, 70's style and sound, good work. Think I can hear a bit of early Vibrators in it too. It's so refreshing with pure and easy rock n roll. ![]()
