My High School Farm Team - The Days

Hello,
These are a group of talented young high school guys that are really good songwriters. Quite amazing for their age. The name of the band is The Days. This was their first time recording. We did a ten song album and every song is pretty strong. All material is copy written.

This tune is Falling Down written by Evan Holmes copywritten 2005

What I like about it is... it's got some little flaws. A little noise and rumble at the intro as the piano notes die off. Vocal lip smacks. Gives it character. It's like my wife says about Clint Eastwood, "He's a handsome guy and his scars make him sexier". I sure as hell woudn't edit/mix those out. I like that it's not perfect. It's a good simple song. Good job! I wish them luck.

I agree. Character and not perfection. I told this band that I expected full takes of the basic tracks. I want them to become better musicians, or at least more interesting musicians. I forced this home by tracking to tape. Overdubs of the vocal were done in a take or two.
