MP3 example Cowbell trans x'ed

Time to time I get asked about Waves Trans X & envelope compression, and it's always easier to show than tell. Here's an example of a cowbell with trans x on it to reduce the room sound. I automated the range so you could hear it do it's thing. I also automated the output trim so the levels stay pretty much the same. Settings end up as followed on the last hit:
Range: 18
Sens: 10
Dur: 310.61
Rel: 480.79
It was the "wide" version, not the multi (obviously).

This took me longer to bounce than to do, and I went full blast on the range which I think in this case gets a bit artifact funky, especially in this MP3 form. It's a lot more tricky on final mixes, but I do think it's worth a shot if you are trying to reduce reverb. I think it's also important to note that this plug in goes both ways, sortah like Lindell. You could make it sound more ambient if you wanted to.

We refer to that as a uniform around here. Cutting a hole in the crotch makes for easier:
