New electronic track (Italian house)

Just finishing a house track and thought I would post it here for peer critique.

I am completely open for tips for improving the mix and/or production.

I really want to add a wah-wah effect to the lead gtr. (You may have seen my posting inquiring about recommended pedals.)

I also need to work on making both the vocals and bass work better.

Does anyone who is familiar with the genre think there is any commercial viability in this sort of thing.

Thanks, in advance, for the honest replies.

(Note this is the short version, we also have a proper, dj friendly club mix.)

Not my bag of candy, but I thinks itīs cool...

Suggestions:
The production feels a bit empty, would be cool with a compressed piano or something that fills out. Also, try to filter the whole tune on occassions, will build up the tension a bit..

Keep up the good work!

Rob, this is the track I was talking to you about mastering. I just need to tweak the mix a bit-- hopefully it should be done next week.

Great ideas, I'll try both suggestions.

Not sure what you are calling these sections, but here goes.

Maybe a deep bass synth pulsing from 0:39-0:54

Then one of those high silky one's from 1:09-1:28 (fades from 1:24)

rinse and repeat...
