| Didn't see a sticky on this: Where to host MP3s? Didn't see a sticky for this, so I thought I'd ask: Where can I host an MP3 or two (for posting a link on this site, or others like it, so numerous people can download the MP3)? Preferably for free, of course. I know MP3.com used to offer this service. Are there others? Adam

| Hey Dimlight, keep the faith! There are several of these kinds of services, doncha know. Replying to my own thread, here's one I found via Google: http://www.mp3-host.com/ They'll host one new MP3 a week for you, up to 500MB bandwith (so, say, a couple hundred people can download your 2.5 MB tune). Perfect for this sort of thing - posting a tune on a discussion group, that is. I'm just wondering if anyone can recommend a specific "best of breed" site they've had personal experience with (I've never used the above site, it's just an example). Anyone? Adam

| I think the best option is to look into the free webspace you probably got with your ISP. There are free downloadable tools to help you upload mp3s, then links will simply open your streaming track in a new window. I never listen to tracks which require me to navigate a hosting site. |
