Smile I know all you pros may think it sucks

But its my most current and best recording. All i used was an sm 57, pg drum mic kit, and a berhenger mixer and preamp. I'll have the fire pod soon enough.

Click here for my bands MP3

If you have any advice on how to make it better let me know

Do you use triggers or drum samples for your bass drum? Or do you just edit the crap out of it? There's no way in hell that's real triggerless-playing.

did you make the solos cut through by turning up the vol? did u equalise them differently to the rhythm as well? adding some low and high end makes them appear closer without changing the volume, so mix may sound clearer.

not much bass in the mix?
