Alt Country Mix please comment.

Spent about 5 days with these guys doing their demos for their upcoming album on Doghouse records.

Take it Slow.

Great mix.

Fits the song well.
The come back at 2:40 seems a little bit to much each time I listen.
It seems to suprise me every time.
The song is all cool.....and mellow...... and then..... BAM!
I might ease up on it a little but, i suck so don't listen.
And the main vox seems a _little_ hard in the mids from that point out.
Not sure I would even change this.

Cool tune, great mix.

Good luck!

thanks! i think i went a little overboard on vocal limiting and theyre a little hard on the choruses and end but yeah, as i said, pretty short project most time spent on drums and guitars.

Great mix. I am not a fan of country whatsoever, but this would be a refreshing spin on the whole country music scene. Alt + country = better than the crap country is churning out. Country artists these days are the country equivalent of Brittany Spears. When they start writing their own music, maybe they'll start having songs with some heart.
