Can't really give opinion on a mix being played back through the MySpace player.

Hey dude - for the style of music it is I reckon you are pretty well on the money.
At first I thought the kick may have been to loud but not for this style of Rock/Metal.
I would like the dirty guiatrs panned hard left and right too. (but that's just my personal taste)
Reminds me of an Oz band 'The Butterfly Effect' a little.

Sounds overcompressed, but mp3's tend to exaggerate the impact of heavy limiting - it's harsh and the cymbals have that mp3 digital sound. Also I cant hear much bass guitar. I would mix it to sound good, then advise the band to take it to a professional ME. It's probably really close to being top notch; a touch more bass guitar, maybe reduce the distorted rythym guitar a hair, run through a choice analog mastering chain in the hands of someone with fresh, experienced ears, and it would likely sound really good.

I like the song my kind of music however the problem is we need to hear it in wav format to be able to get a full depth of your mixing.

Like steveschizoid said "Sounds overcompressed, but mp3's tend to exaggerate the impact of heavy limiting - it's harsh and the cymbals have that mp3 digital sound."

Do you have it in .wav format and uploaded to a site we can hear?

You guys know way more about mixing then i do but i can give you my input as an artist and music lover :)

wow!! I had no idea it...I was that far off base!!! sounds really nice here on ns10's(control room might be suspect ya think) perhaps you are hearing that mp3 crap sound across the board the guitars are a wee bit harsh maybe the kick is up a tad but i wasnt using much limiting at all i will get a .wav uploaded as soon as I make some adjustments!! thanx your advice is noted and I will beat myself up later !!!
