| Gear nut | Mixing Jazz Guitar Duo I'm just trying to mix Jazz guitar duo. They are friends of mine and they asked me to record some songs in my studio. I recorded their playing with two km 184-> Pendulum MDP-1 -> SSL Alpha Link -> Profire Lightbridge -> Pro Tools M Powered. Please, let me know about those two mixed tracks. Any advice will be appreciated! Thanks! Impressions Ornithology |

| Listened to the first two so far. Good job. No criticism... sounds blanced and live. Edit: third one - Bemsha Swing - sounds like it has a higher RMS level and a more lower-midrange oriented sound, which I like less, though the playing is very good still. Yeah, really nice guitar playing all around. |

| I think the recording is good bro! The playing is a little stiff and boring. And I would have choosed nylon strings instead of steel. It sounds too modern for my vintage ears. Would be fun though to jam with these boyz.

| Gear nut | Guys didn't have much time so every song was played for three times max. There wasn't too much time so maybe they were little bit stressed. But I think that some parts in every song are really great. Thanks for your words anyway! |
