| Pretty hot tune! If it was my production, I'd bring in some type of synth bass line that's more audible. It seems like there's a lot of space that's calling for a hot bass line. Also, I'd make the snare hit a lot harder to make it more danceable. It's pretty soft in the mix, and you can't really even tell it's there until you look for it. I'd wait until the part when she sings "then i see one who catches my eye" to introduce it. I'd probably roll with a big clap or something with possibly a hit hat on the 2nd beat of the bar for that "sss kah" sound. It's a pretty hot beat though and good song overall. Singer's great, and it's pretty catchy. I feel like the vox could sparkle a little more, they seem a little bare bones (flat, EQ-wise) at parts. Also, they may be sexier if they were more up front in the mix. Just some recommendations to consider, but by no means necessary... all a matter of taste. Good work.

| I feel like theres a bit too much reverb on the lead vocal...they sound like they need to fit in the track a bit better. The background vocals sound a bit muffled to me as well. The contrast between the lead vocal, which is really bright and reverby and the background vocals which are a bit darker and muffled just doesnt sit well in my ears. And yeah as someone else said i'd like to hear a more prominent snare Just my opinion/ears though. |
