| I'm typing as I listen. First thing that strikes me is the sound stage. Very nice use of stereo imaging. This is pretty cool stuff. Love the guitar sound. Very different. Heard something funky at 1:29. Like a late kick drum or something like that. It was sort of distracting. Is it my imagination, or are the vox increasing in volume and high end as the track progresses? Neat stuff. Maybe just my ears or crappy computer speakers playing tricks on me. |

| Glad you really listened !! This artist (from Liverpool) is into recording more volume than perfection. Just trying to sell tunes, not make them anything near perfection. These are all one-take ^ sit down at the mic ^ .make up the tune >as we go along. No click track..I pain-stakingly recorded the seperate drum/ percussion on the keyboard , with many tracks . SO that may equate the hic-cup at the spot you noted. The spectral sound stage may come from the Behringer 2496 --a great little tool. Stereo mics on the guitar---TC electronics for all the effects--And Kurzweils for everyhting else --bass, drums, etc. His budget (62 tunes in 2 years) is for rough mix and move on to the next tune. Really appreciate a your response ^^a real "truth" in listening* thanks kindly http://fp2k.redshift.com/cjogo/uploads/CAN'T%20BE%20ONE.mp3 CAN'T BE ONE http://fp2k.redshift.com/cjogo/uploads/WHITE%20EAST.mp3 WHITE EAST http://fp2k.redshift.com/cjogo/uploa...YOU%20KNOW.mp3 HOW DO YOU KNOW http://fp2k.redshift.com/cjogo/uploads/THE%20GOVEN'ATOR.mp3 KALIFRONA GOVENTOR |
