There Is A Light That Never Goes Out

There Is A Light That Never Goes Out bcgood.mp3

There Is A Light That Never Goes Out

Take me out tonight
Where theres music and theres people
And theyre young and alive
Driving in your car
I never never want to go home
Because I havent got one
Anymore

Take me out tonight
Because I want to see people and i
Want to see life
Driving in your car
Oh, please dont drop me home
Because its not my home, its their
Home, and Im welcome no more

And if a double-decker bus
Crashes into us
To die by your side
Is such a heavenly way to die
And if a ten-ton truck
Kills the both of us
To die by your side
Well, the pleasure - the privilege is mine

Take me out tonight
Take me anywhere, I dont care
I dont care, I dont care
And in the darkened underpass
I thought oh god, my chance has come at last
(but then a strange fear gripped me and i
Just couldnt ask)

Take me out tonight
Oh, take me anywhere, I dont care
I dont care, I dont care
Driving in your car
I never never want to go home
Because I havent got one, da ...
Oh, I havent got one

And if a double-decker bus
Crashes into us
To die by your side
Is such a heavenly way to die
And if a ten-ton truck
Kills the both of us
To die by your side
Well, the pleasure - the privilege is mine

Oh, there is a light and it never goes out
There is a light and it never goes out
There is a light and it never goes out
There is a light and it never goes out
There is a light and it never goes out
There is a light and it never goes out
There is a light and it never goes out
There is a light and it never goes out
There is a light and it never goes out

Love that song to. I use to sing Some Girls are Bigger than Others when I was a teenager and my mom thought that it was a song that I made up to be silly since I was in a band at the time, she couldn't imagine that a real band would have those lyrics. Then I played her the song and she couldn't believe it. Surprisingly enough she really enjoyed the music just not the lyrics.

Give me the guitar track and I'll turn this song in to a HIT song one more time before we put the smith in bed for good. I love this song! Cool effort but I think you should do it with a twist to get through, this is a little too nice and the midi instruments really kills the vibe for me.

I would love to give it a try if you are up for it... I will add different beat and cooler bass plus no midi - what do you say, old friend?

You'll sing new vocals too?

has anyone heard the light 3000 by schnieder tm? it's an amazing indie-electro cover of this track, i actually prefer it to the original. it's the exception that proves the rule that no one should ever, ever, ever, ever cover the smiths.

here it is:

i don't like the version posted, it's not similar enough to be a tribute or interesting enough to be a reinterpretation. it is very nicely recorded though, and i'd be interested to hear your original stuff.

does anyone remember when some mentalist posted a smiths song here and said he recorded it, like, the other day. hilarious, especially when someone who clearly hadn't realised posted "nice warm sound "

I personally didn't like this version but each to their own I suppose.

Sorry you didn't like my version but thanks for the compliment on the recording quality!

I do need to sit down and record my own stuff and finally put out an album...

I would like to give it a try - yeah vocals and bass, simple drums etc. But me and my girlfriend are going away for the weekend so it will take some time.

If you don't mind I would like to try... I love this song to! But it would be awesome if you could upload the guitar 16bit wave.

Cheers man.
