| Please critique this recording I'd appreciate it if some of you recording cats could load this stereo .wav file up, take a listen and let me know your thoughts about the recording. Basically, I like this combination of mics, pres, etc., and the mix, and want to see if others have any suggestions, thoughts or pointers. Thanks! Retrograde Sample |

| Sounds good, I like the song and the sound of your acoustic as well, good stuff. Check out my slightly enhanced bcgood master version. Retrograde m295 6-08 bcgood master.wav

| Sounds really good. Well done. The context of the recording and the other songs which may be along side of this song may determine your mixing/recording flavours. On its own it sounds fine. If it were me I might just add a bit more bass in reference to the low notes?...since they seem to play a significant role in leading the chordal movement,...it'd be my personal bias to give them just a bit more punch. Thanks for sharing. |
