I got played but...

hey guys,

I'm getting played on triple J, Australia's good music station. Its a remix I did of a cool band called the Seabellies, you can find the single, and the remix that I did of it here:

MySpace.com - The Seabellies - Next Single Arriving Soon - Alternative / Indie / Pop - www.myspace.com/theseabellies

(Its called "Heart Heart Heart Out")

When I listen to the single they made, then my remix at comparative volume I'm, erm, sad I guess.

Their single is louder than mine, and i don't mind that at all because I'm proud to say I stopped limiting it before I destroyed it even if it is quieter. But what I'd really appreciate from anyone who is willing, is a comment on the sonic quality of my remix in terms of fidelity (remember its myspace 96kbps unless u download it), the mix, and the mastering, oh and also the arrangement. Lol, I know its a lot to ask, but I thought I'd ask anyway, cause this is where I come to find everything I always wanted to know!

My brief when they gave me the stems was "Make us a dance remix that is recognisable and people in clubs tap ol' feet to".

No probs if no one feels like writing back, just thought I'd ask.

Cheers,

Mark.
