| Dover Bay (Demo) - a cross of Jack Johnson and Ray Lamontagne This is just a demo of a song I am working on for a little folk acoustic EP and I would love some feedback on it. The instrumental gaps will be filled with a lead instrument (not sure what yet) - I know they drag a bit. Any comments on how this song is shaping up? Sometimes I like it and sometimes I don't - I need some comments here :) Thanks. |

| Nice intimate sound - great voice; guitar sounds perfectly suited to the vocal...noticed a background hiss (noise floor?) An accordion would make a great instrumental or perhaps an instrument native to Dover Bay? The vocal double tracking towards the end adds more too - is there reverb or detune used? Best, 101

| Nice work. It sounds like the computer fan is to blame for the noise. If so, there are many suggestions on how to deal with that. +++ |

| As a matter of fact, I just bought a new fan today. If there's anything I know, it's computers :) (I'm a web developer/nerd). It's running silent and has made a massive improvement to the vibe/recordings. |

Oh, and for the record, I've come to hate this song and I'm not saying it's good or anything. It's outside of my element and, yes, boring. So, if you're just gonna put me down, that's unnecessary.

This could be done really nice............it's a touch 'pitchy' as you go along....You could make this current with the right arrangement....needs some work but you got a couple cool things going on...... Keep working......... Steve Altonian www.soundclick.com/stevealtonian
