| Gear interested | Dirty Hardcore Mix before and after UAD1e (am I going the right direction?) I installed the UAD1e card today and immediately started remixing old sessions. all the plugs rule. I am very happy with the purchase. this is a before and after of a hardcore song by my friends band d.f.f. It was recorded in a double wide on a firepod. drums and guitar were done live. bass and vocals were tracked later in said double wide with a sans amp on the bass and the 2 singers holding 57s tracking at the same time. dff.zip just looking for opinions thanks mark |

| Well the difference between the two is pretty impressive. especially on drums that weren't powerful enough on the original. but beside, there's a strange impression of boxy mix. it sounds to my ears like it was recorded live in a tiny room. could you tell us more about the rec conditions? PS : I just ordered a UAD Nevana, and your stuff makes me think that I'm did well ! |

| Gear interested | guitars and drums were done live in a double wide trailer. an audix d6 on the bass drum on 57 on the snare and overheads. i just used one 57 on the guitar. the band didnt want to clean of a sound. they actually like the first mix better if that tells you anything about the sound they were going for |

| Well the BD is much better! Can you do the same magic with the snare? And which UAD plugs did you actually use?
