Question Help finalize my mix (Finnish guitar pop with dark undertones)

This is my first mix I have done in a few years apart from electronic music which is a whole different matter. I had to basically learn everything from the start again.

http://loukku.org/~krispi/ivorygraves/scars_altmix_4dB.mp3

The tracking was done on absolute zero budget with stuff we could borrow. That said, the mixing itself has been pretty sticks and stones.. I like the end result but I can't put my finger on what is lacking from the mix.

I will need to clean up some tracks with a bit of hiss, maybe change vocal reverbs and some small stuff, and I have a feeling there's a tad bit too much compression on the track overall. I was aiming for a bit of a eighties-ish sound.. And oh yeah, there's no proper monitoring environment, even less now that my high end amp broke down and waiting for it to get repaired, so I'm down to headphones..

Does the mix sound OK or is it a complete disaster? What say ye?

Thanks / Kiitos!

Not bad, first reaction was that the vox should be up higher in the mix: they get drowned out. I definitely feel the 80's vibe, and it's pretty cool. May be a little muddy in the low-mids from the bass guitar. I think the guitars sound nice, and the drums not bad either. Yeah, I'd add some more reverb on the vox too. Good luck!
