I don't usually like rap, but this is damned good. Backing track has a nice '60s Motown vibe. Your lyrics are really good, too.

I can see what you mean about the lower voice being a bit buried. Don't really have any suggestions as your gear and production is far beyond anything I've ever done or worked with.

Sorry that I don't have anything constructive to say, but I thought I'd chime in anyway since so often songs just come and go on this forum without anyone commenting. You definitely deserve some feedback, even if it's only compliments for a job well done thus far.

sounds like the track is mixed nice (although i'd like to hear more snare) and the vocals are mixed nice but the vocals and the track together are not blending. it sounds like the vocals are just sitting on top of a 2mix. do you have all of the beat/music seperated? i'd suggest making more space for the vocals to sit. they may solve your problem. cool track though... good work!

yeah the beat is 2tracked...so not much i can do there...
i often have a hard time getin my voice to shine through the beat...cus my voice gets stuck with the lows of the beat...the one drawback of having a deep ass voice

thanks for the feedback though
appreciate it

I don't really think it's too far off... Try boosting the vox around 300hz and cutting the music track a little around there. You could also try cutting the vox around 1000hz. Try boosting around 6khz in the vox for presence and clarity. I dig it man, you sound like a G.
