| Sounds great !! But based on your previous posted mixes I think it's a given that you can mix. Specifically I loved the tom sound before the big guitars came in. I liked. James

| I have only listened to a few of your tracks, but I am really impressed with how you make things sound super-awesome-studio-produced without sounding over-compressed or like the artists are robots. |

| I think it's a nice production, but I believe there are some problems in the mix/master section. I'm listening with AKG K701 headphone at the moment, can't listen on the speakers at this time, but I believe the hihats sound a little bit strange.. (strange thing is happening in the high frequencies). About the vocals. I think she is a good singer, but I can hear some pitchtune correction that sounds to obvious (or something else makes it believe it's pitchtune correction.. it doesn't always sound completely natural to me). But don't get me wrong, I still enjoy this song, it's great! ![]() |

Out of curiosity, is there a lot of French music in Canada? - Has the artist moved from france or is she a French-speaking Canadian? I don't really know much about Canada other than it's apparently beautiful and everybody's really nice to each other... I'd like to visit one day... perhaps for 6 months or something, not sure.... | |

| Yeah that sounds pritty good! The highhats have to sharp tone like already mentioned. Mix too bussy i think, maybe a bit less compression would be fine to make easier listening possible. Also more analoge touch would be cool. But in general the mix very good. |

| Thanks! There's only 1 or 2 dB of compression on the master buss. I didn't feel that the mix was overcompressed and specially in that kind of music that is radio oriented but I take note of your comment. Also, what do you mean by "a more analogue touch would be cool"?

| Thank you very much! What do you mean by "equipment"? If you refer to what I used to mix the song, like I said in the post above, it was mix totally in the box using Cubase 4, UAD Plugins and Waves plugins. I mix on Mackie HR824 monitors. All the vocals was recorded at my studio using a Rode NT2000 into a SPL TrackOne preamp.
