| 'Jet' style tune This track was a demo recorded in a day - all the players were in the same room - bleed a plenty and the vox were overdubbed. Mix took 3 hours roughly, mixed in the box on Nuendo 1.6. The band have recently gone to a large studio in the country with a largish-name producer to try and recreate this demo for a release. Oh the irony! Enjoy! |

| Cool sounding band. Your mix sounds great. I like how you did the mono mix of everything except the drums in stereo approach. Do you mix alot like this? George Ausperger, a great acoustician, used to tune control rooms with a Lionel Ritchie cd that was mixed in mono. He obviously did this to hear actual music while listening to the balance of frequencies between the two speakers. But, he must have liked how the mixes sounded to be using it as a reference. |

No real master plan on my part with the panning stuff - it's where stuff felt good! Nuendo 1.6 rocked, v2.0 seems to rock even more! Thanks for your comments! Cheers, Rich | |
