| Hey Guys, This a tune I wrote for a female artist on my small record label. I would like any pointers or comments anyone may have about my protools mix on this. Thanks Jay |

| I think your mix sounds great. Also nice production. Maybe automate a desser on a few words. Great job. |

I did use the de esser on her, her siblance issue was pretty bad. Probably needs more de essing.. Anyway, I am still a little concerned about the mids on this mix as well as the stereo image.

1) I would micro-surgically fix your essing problems in a worthy audio editor, one-by-one. They are not horribly offensive, or more importantly numerous to this observer, anyway. I have problems with entire track de-esser techniques affecting mixes inadvertantly when a little crafting skill would go a long way without "blanket" de-essing processing. 2) Stereo image is "there" and the sounstage presented here is ok. It could be widened as well many ways if warranted. 3) I also note that the vocal track is slightly muddy in the 230-400 hz range on some particular phrases. Subtly parametrically decreasing this range on the MP3 track submitted made it way more listenable and "de-honked". Needs to be done here, IHMO. This is a gorgeous effort, a pleasure to listen to! Keep em' coming, Jay! ---LeeLoo
