| I run a pretty minimalist setup. The most expensive piece of equipment is the computer. 3ghz PC that my partner put together. We have a Presonus DIGIMAX preamp strip and a DBX 386 dual tube pre. Id say we have a decent live room. Very tall ceilings. Drumset is a pretty cheap set, I think Tama kick drum, I dont even know what brand toms or snare but James (the guy who played everything on the recording) doesnt have very much money. I'd say alot of the sound has to do with his skills. Most expensive mic is a RODE NTK. Did not use any tape, its all in Nuendo (even the mastering). We do have alot of plugins, Waves platinum and waves IR for reverb. (I love it) RComp on drum room mics. Mix limited with TRACKS Limiter (I love it)

| Id say the DBX is o-k.. ive heard alot better but Im not really in a position to be buying really expensive gear yet. Bass is DI. Fender p-bass with some overdrive tube sim plugin on it to give it a little character and a little R-Bass. Guitar is is a SG through a Dr. Z vox style amp with a 421.

| Very nice music!! Very British, very Morrismithy :) I have a Digimax myself and I recognise the sound of it. Very clean and detailed and a bit "light" (no big transformers there) but still with a sound that is soft in a way. I'm happy with mine even though it's dissed like Behringer almost. ![]() Probably by people never tried it. ![]() |
