| Hi Folks, I have a question about origin. Had prepared a drum track and went into the booth to see what could fit to it with the guitar. Wasn´t expecting much, espially not with about 30° C in little room with heavy isolation and fiberglass on top. However, right from start there came up some funny melody, but ... While playing along it soon became so tight and confident that I suspected this to be some thing I might have heard already somewhere ... bummer. I came out to smoke a cigarette and think what song it could be and suddenly realized that I was referring to something I had tracked myself years ago. However, the feeling came back that it could be a copy of something commercial ( which would be no good, cause I´m not eager to reproduce something ) Unfortunately, my original piece is gone ( I tend to throw them away It would be great if you could help me to evaluate whether to start working on it or whether it would be just a double of something. Be kind with me about that clip though. I know it is chit, noise, playing, timing, everything and I don´t know why it is cut so badly in the middle of the note. What I was playing today in the booth was sounding in another way and also not the very same melody, only close pattern. I would like to know if there has been something very close out there which I might have forgotten or if I´m just relating to any structures remotely similar. Thanks for your help. And pardon again hat crappy clippy. Ruphus
