If you have a moment, check out this Punk mix....

....finally got around to posting this mix in progress.

Die To Be Free

The band calls themselves UK '77, it's a group of 15 year olds and this is one of thier originals. My son is a member, he's singer guitarist, writer. I recorded and mixed this as a demo for them. They're working hard on their chops and play out regularly. Making progress.

It was recorded "live", ensemble style. Would love to get comments from the GS Brethern on the mix itself. BTW, there's a couple of F bombs thrown around in the song, so just a warning for those with "sensitive ears".

Thanks!

Yeah! I like the production too!

Vocals remind me of Leather Face a bit.

Love the hap hazard soloing too.

dbluefield,
Thanks for listening, and thanks for the suggestion on the drums. I'll give that a try.

RichT,
Hey, thanks to you too for checking it out.
"...hap hazard soloing....", that's a great description.
Like I said the band is a group of 15 year olds and they're still working on their chops, but, given their punk attitude, I think they would take hap hazard as a compliment.
