| Lives for gear | So far it's not bad. The vocals need to be a bit less in your face...also you might want to add some distortion or reamp those pig screams. |

| Gear Head | Wow, that's a really bad vocalist. I'm not sure what else I'd do to try to make him sound any good: probably compress the living sh*t out of 'em, but that's about all you can do. Personally, I'd like to hear more click in the kick-drum, especially for this style. Also, try bussing the drums to a stereo bus, compress the living **** out of it, and bring it back a bit in the mix with the original drums. See if it gives them some more oomph. The bass guitar sounds like they had a really, really bad bass: there's not much you can do about that now... Overall the mix sounds good enough for a demo for sure! Keep going with it to see if you can push it to EP-worthiness :)

| Hey there, thanks for listening an the comments! I was struggling to get the drums to sound harder. I wish I recorded the guitars dry so i can re-amp them. The recorded have way too much gain. here's my second mix attempt. more compression this time. Keep the comments coming in.:) |

| I actually dig the "pig" squeal in the last part of the mp3. Were you going for the natural vibe? That kick has not enough lows for me. Try a sample maybe? DM5 beach ball? Turn off the velocity sens. Eq it to taste. Are you happy with the balances? I'd pull up the bass a bit and guitar a bunch. Try getting that high hat down too. Drums were really dominating here. My 2cents.
