| what do you guys think of this mix? This is a mix done all in Logic Pro 7 with Kontakt and Colosuss, soft synths. It's the first mix I have done in my newly treated control room (treated for acoustics I mean) and I am happy with the results. I used two kiks, one I took all the low end off of and compressed the hell out of it to add a point to the kik. Also most of the plug ins are native logic plug-ins, with a few TC powercore compact plugs too (I dont use those much because they crash my mac, stupid things, they sound amazing...) Let me know what you think. |

| I tracked the vox with a Neuman TLM 103 straight into my tascam FW-1082 interface. |

| nice job and tune. there's a bit of a mask on the boiing of the synth bass and one of your kik tracks I think. i think logic native plugins are some of the best native plugs, maybe next to samplitude |

| Like the way the vocals sit in the mix..to my ears it sounded like they were panned a little left..but maybe that was what I was getting from the cowbell being hard right..don't know why that would be.. Your vocalist is very good as well.I too have the TLM 103 and very pleased with it. Overall..nice and bright which in my opinion is good for this genre of music..Sexy lyrics!!..my kid would love it..well done Dvs |
