![]() Sounds great - very soulful guitar playing and nice, creamy tone - wish I had some guitar chops like that. Repost when you get the lyrics down. I thought the tom hits on "4 and" could maybe be brought down a hair - maybe it's just my listening environment, but they seem to punch through a bit strong. But overall, me likey! | |

| Some good guitar playing there. My personal preference would be to bring up some of the highs on the guitar to blend it in better with everything else. But then again, I'm an "in your face music" kind of guy. ![]() I agree with cptnhook, those toms sound a bit loud! |

| thanks guys. the drums are just the same pattern over an over and I haven't figured out yet how to mix the drums volumes on that Halion One thingie. The LM7 in Cubase LE was easy but I uninstalled it so I'm still playing with this. The drum pattern will be replaced with real drums. The guitar on the other hand is a throwaway done though my microcube. It's pretty fuzzy. That's my telecaster on both pickups but sounds like a PRS or LP with super distortion pickups. I do stuff like this, give the drummer an mp3 of it and a wave with no drums and let him do his thing and he gives me 10 drum tracks back. Then I start building on it. I've kept the bass tracks a coupld of times but usually redo everything. I post more later. To be honest, this is the most replies I've gotten on anything I've posted here so thanks for taking the time. It's really appreciated. |

| Yeah man.......cool guit work! You might consider tucking that drum track in behind the guitars...they deserve it! Even for demo purposes.....maybe a stereo delay or something to get them back on the stage.

| Thanks Lenny but again, this isn't a demo. These are scratch tracks. This is what i give the drummer minus the drums. Nothing here will ever be used on the finished product and from what i see there is no mixing of the drums. It just is what it is. I'm just curious if anybody likes the songs so far. |
