| Live Acoustic Band Club Cover! Rip it apart! Here is a tune from a live recording for a cover band's bonus tracks for their EP. Any help in adjusting this mix would be greatly appreciated. There's a deadline of the end of March, and I would love to be ripped a new one for learning's sake. Thanks! |

| wish i could.. rip it apart for ya. Honestly I think it's fanastic. I am listening thru beyer DT770's and it sounds great. For the sake of finding something to pick on I would Eq in a bit more of the beater attack on the kick. I think it would give just the right amount of definition and live up to everything else. I thought the performance was really cool too. I was never a fan of the song but I really like this rendition !. I would pay to see the band and hire you to record. Nice job. Well maybe not the record part only because my wife would shoot me if I paid someone to record me after the amount of money I have spent on gear.

| Thanks for the compliment. I hear what you mean about the beater attack. I was monitoring on M-Audio BX-8's and they're a little bright, so it seems fitting. Does the snare sound funny to you? (It does to me, but I can't pinpoint why) |
