| im new to recording and i have a band who wants me to record them. The guitar track is played thoughout the song. When i record the guitar track with metronome for the whole song and give it as a guide track for the drummer,he cant seem to catch up on the beat..should i record them both together?what's your advice? How do producer's normally start recording? another thing,im using Protools.after i recorded that guitar track,i tried opening it again after saving and it didn't seem to appear on screen.it has the track..is it because of my buffer size?or the iMac...?the song was rather long (4+minutes)...and im gonna record about 11-12 tracks..!Plz help.... ![]() |
