Pop/Hard-rock track I finished today

Hi,

Today I finished the instrumental part of our song called "Wake Up", the singer is on vacantion right now so i decided to mix it so i could track his vocals with a nice mix.

What do you think of the mix this far? How are my reverbs? And how is the bass section?

Please give me some comments :)

I like it man, and I'm a sucker for organs. Guitars sound great. I did listen just on my lappy, but are the drums panned to left? I like it though, good work. I'd like to hear it with vocals. At the end of the song, when the piano comes in, I think it would be good if the piano stayed with the rest of the song. Like when it goes into the next part after that piano interlude part, it kinda drops out. I don't know, just a suggestion.

well, imo the hihats starting at 00:31 sound a little bit too hard/loud. When i heard them start playing, i thought the next measure must be the refrain already, sounds as if the drummer is counting down to the refrain. but actually it starts about 20-30 seconds later.
maybe because of the smooth and relaxing sound of the other instruments it sounds so hard to me....

maybe im just too old for that type of music...

Thanks for listening and the great comments!
We actually tried to let the piano play the chorus, but we didn't like it (guitarist, me and the keyplayer). Nice suggestion about the Hi-hat, will bring it a bit down in the mix (i'm the drummer so I really like the sound of my own hats ;) )

My Ears. Things dont really sound consistently even through out the song. Guitars sound good almost too good. How did you track them? The organ is too loud and too low back and forth. Drums seemed to get squashed when everything hits especially when you get on the crash. I listened twice and seems one rythm guitar is the same thing continuously through the whole song even behind the other stuff going on. It sounds really good to me even things out a bit and i would love to hear this with the vocals.
