Pop/Rock Love Song

**Update**
I've updated a newer version with new vocals and a new mix. Comments? Thanks!

Pretty shallow lyrics, just fun and frivolously in love type stuff.

Please tear it apart and give me your thoughts and constructive critcism/feedback. Thanks!

Overall, I like it, quite accessible, nice bass sound. My main criticism would be:

1) the vocal rhythm/meter and the melody in the bridge/prechorus isn't very different from the chorus, that kinda makes it harder to set the chorus apart.

2) I'd have stacked about 10 background vocal tracks in the chorus, to make it sound a lot bigger. When you sing "breathing on my skin" in the prechorus, there is a nice backing panned L/R and then you go back to a one voice chorus, which feel anti-climatic to me.

3) I'd play around with little effects on the vocals in the verses just to make it sound more interesting throughout.

Good work overall! Hope this helps!

Thanks. I agree about the BGV, and I recorded about 20 takes, but wasn't really liking the higher ones. I will play around with that, but I had the very same thought.

The same vocals (panned in the pre-c) run throughout the chorus, but I think they're just getting lost in the mix. Definitely something I will tweak before release.

Thanks!

Vocalist sounds like he has a cold.

No love for the high end? Just kidding! Low end is usually my weak point, so if that's better, then thank you!

Ha! I'm listening on earbuds so top end is always sounding harsh to me. Just thought you had the kick and bass nice and tight.

Oh I see, cool. Well thanks for that comment, because the low end is what I've been trying to get better at. Thanks!
