| Unusual request I am writing a song called New Kid in Town. It is about a new kid in a new town with adjustment issues. I have 3 potential song ideas called New Kid in Town at this link: http://www.soundclick.com/bands/default.cfm?bandID=405294 They are New Kid in Town 1, 2 and 3. The production and writing are very rough and only give a rough sense of the songs. Would you mind giving the 3 a listen and voting on your favourite or letting me know if they all suck. Thanks- Your help is always appreciated! |

| Although 1 & 2 have more going on, I like #3. the timing of the drums and guitar are way off though, but I can see this track sounding good once done. I'd record the guitar using more of the mic and less of the direct. Place the mic closer on the neck than the body, so it leaves room for the vocals. less is more.
