| Let me say first that I listened to this cut on my office PC, so... I was feeling this song-- pretty good groove, and a fair mix. There was a few places where the vocal(s) are unclear, or muffled, but that could be a personal preference thing. I also felt that the vocal(s) "left" the mix in a few spots, not really too loud of too soft, but maybe panning??? Overall, I liked it. I want to hear it at my studio, and maybe I will have a better idea of what is 'really' going on! Good job! ---------------------------- Prentice Quarter Note Recording Studios www.quarternotestudio.com |

Tha't exactly why we want to do an overdub in my little homestudio for the vocals and sax. In a proper enviroment and with a better mic. A tracking stage it was done with dynamic 'live' mic's. The vocals where there at tracking moment for the rest of the band to get the feel of the recording. When the overdub is done, i will post an update, and hopefuy you guys can help me to make this into a nice mix ![]() Thanks! Jeroen | |

| Lives for gear | I'd say that you're off to a pretty good start - Yeah, it needs some tweaking, but there isn't a lot that's *irritating* in there. That's a good start. The vocals could use some "air" and space, the mix in general could be a little more airy also. A little controlled compression here and there woudn't hurt either.
