Your meter doesn't suck!

Very impressive job regardless of the equipment. I have all those mics except 58 and couldn't pull that off, I don't think. Cool vibe. Sort of mellow-heavy-Reggae. A tiny bit like Fishbone, at least that's my closest reference.

I like the vocals alot. Up front and full, not thin, edgy and scooped sounding.

Snare is just a hint too compressed and a little dull, but very close to right on.

Love the horns!

Nothing else I can really say about it. Sounds great like it is!

I'm gonna keep the song and make a GS compilation CD of the tunes I like.

One question: is there a pitch shifter on the backing vocs during "falling down" in the last chorus? They sound good, but slightly chipmunk.

Nice one Nutmeg,

I really like the vocals - reminds me of later Police production - very cool.

I'm one of those lucky Paris-slutz who got the full album of that band from Nutmeg II! Excellent stuff, really like it!

Great song.

I really, envy you given that this is your first attempt. If only I could have been this proficient my first time around. You are definately on to something. Keep it up.

P.S. If you get a second, check out the piece I posted. It shouldn't be too far down: Supporting the Cause...
