Totally, dig it.

The only thing I could recommend is, that the snare may need to come down just a bit. Also, you might want to notch out a little at around 300Hz. Possibly, compress the toms a bit more. It sounds great, I just think the snare might be a bit distracting. It seems like it might be competing with the vocal for priority. Maybe hi pass the vox at around 100/120 HZ. Occasionally, when the vocalist reaches down into the lower register it tends to reveal a little boominess.
OK, so I guess that was more than just one suggestion. Sorry, if I seem hypercritical.

Did you use the dbx 586/Blue combo on the vocal? It's really, nice.

I have a Blue Kiwi and I can not tell you how much I love that thing...and yes I used the 586dbx..very warm and not to expensive.

By the way everything else was direct to a dm24 to pt hd...

Bill,

What is even more coincidental is that, the dbx 586 was the only pre amp I had on hand at the time of my recording. Spooky, huh?

Bill,

Nevermind, it ended up in my bulk folder. The only problem is that a virus was detected when I tried to open it.
